Coach (Tapestry) in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal seeks a part-time Sales Associate to deliver luxury client experiences and drive omnichannel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards through elevated, personalised client experiences.
- Develop and maintain client relationships via styling advice, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets by cross-selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans and KPIs.
- Use Mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live-stream shopping) to capture client data and convert interactions into sales.
- Perform daily store operations: cash wrap, process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment, and basic visual merchandising.
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom organisation and adhere to POS, asset protection and retail policies.
- Support teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative team environment and participate in brand trainings and inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to operate POS systems and perform basic computer tasks (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS).
- Strong proficiency in English.
- Social media savvy; experience with live-stream shopping or video demos and clienteling/data acquisition is preferred.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced retail environment and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Combination of relevant education and practical experience will be considered.

Experience
At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior experience in luxury retail and demonstrated clienteling, omni-channel selling or social/live-stream commerce is strongly preferred.

No formal degree required; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
