Coach (Tapestry) seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Vancouver, BC to deliver luxury service, drive omni-channel sales and build client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a brand ambassador on the sales floor, delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service and creating elevated, personalized shopping experiences.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through styling, product expertise, follow-up and clienteling to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans.
  • Use omni-channel tools—mobile POS, clienteling platforms and social selling channels (including short-form video)—to capture customer data and close sales.
  • Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap operations, processing transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment.
  • Support visual merchandising standards, keep sales floor and stockroom organized and stocked, and adhere to POS, asset protection and retail policies.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, mandatory training and inclusion activities; support teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency operating POS systems and basic computing devices (iPad/laptop) and familiarity with mobile POS workflows.
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 lb regularly (up to 50 lb occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, peak retail seasons and public holidays.
  • Strong English communication skills; social media savvy and experience with live-stream shopping or video demos preferred.

Experience

At least one year of retail sales experience; prior luxury or premium-brand retail experience and demonstrated success with clienteling, omni-channel selling and meeting KPI-driven sales targets preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or vocational training in retail, fashion or related fields is preferred but not required. Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.25 to CAD 21.50 per hour.
