Coach (Tapestry) seeks a part‑time Temporary Sales Associate in Michigan City, IN — front‑line luxury retail role focused on clienteling and omni‑channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized luxury service in accordance with Coach style and service standards.
- Build and sustain client relationships through personalised styling, product expertise, and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store KPIs by executing personal sales plans, cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short‑form video) to capture customer data and convert omni‑channel interactions into sales.
- Perform daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage cash wrap, receive shipments, replenish stock and support inventory cycles.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep sales floor and stockroom organised, and adhere to asset protection and POS procedures.
- Adapt to high‑traffic periods and multi‑customer environments while supporting teammates across functional areas.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; accept feedback and demonstrate professional, calm conduct.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proficiency operating POS systems and basic computing devices (iPad, laptop); experience with mobile POS and walkie‑talkie use.
- Demonstrable customer focus with strong selling skills: cross‑selling, upselling and personalised clienteling.
- Comfortable with social selling techniques, short‑form video or live‑stream shopping and creating product demonstrations (preferred).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform stockroom duties (climbing, bending, kneeling).
- Strong English language proficiency.

Experience
Minimum of one year in a sales or retail-facing role; prior luxury or premium brand retail experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and managing client relationships is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, fashion or customer service training beneficial. Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
