Coach is hiring a Temporary Sales Associate in Livermore, CA (San Francisco Premium Outlets) to deliver luxury retail service and drive omni‑channel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized customer service in line with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and sustain client relationships through product expertise, styling advice and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business and loyalty.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video) to capture client data and facilitate omni‑channel transactions.
  • Process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online order pickups) accurately and efficiently while adhering to POS and asset‑protection procedures.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, replenish stock, receive shipments and support inventory cycles to ensure a well‑presented sales floor.
  • Manage multiple customers on the floor simultaneously, adapt selling techniques to traffic patterns and maintain high energy during peak periods.
  • Support teammates across functional areas as needed and contribute to a collaborative, trust‑based team environment.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; accept and act on feedback to refine selling behaviours.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ year(s) of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven proficiency with POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); experience with mobile POS and clienteling tools preferred.
  • Strong verbal English communication skills required.
  • Social‑media savvy with experience or comfort in short‑form video, live‑stream shopping or video demos preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail season and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; able to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre in salesfloor and stockroom environments.

Experience

At least one year of retail sales experience is required; preference given to candidates with luxury or premium brand experience and a track record of meeting sales KPIs.
