Coach is hiring a Part‑time Sales Associate in Somerville, MA (Assembly Row) to deliver personalized luxury retail service and drive omnichannel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the front‑line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized service consistent with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and sustain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow‑up to drive loyalty and repeat purchase.
- Achieve individual and store sales goals through cross‑selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans against KPIs.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short‑form video) to capture client data and convert opportunities across channels.
- Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and online order fulfilment (pickups/returns/exchanges).
- Maintain an organized, merchandise‑ready sales floor and stockroom; follow POS, asset protection and retail policies.
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves and manage product movement; assist teammates in other functional areas as required.
- Demonstrate resilient, calm professionalism; welcome feedback and adapt behaviours to support team performance and brand initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Proven proficiency with POS systems and mobile POS; comfortable using iPad/laptop and walkie‑talkie communication.
- Strong spoken English proficiency required.
- Social‑media savvy with experience in social selling, live‑stream shopping or video demos preferred; clienteling and data acquisition skills a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior experience in luxury or premium retail and omnichannel selling (clienteling, social selling, live video) is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
