Kate Spade New York seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Sevierville, TN (Tanger Outlets Sevierville).
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and build rapport through confident, knowledgeable service that embodies the Kate Spade brand.
- Provide personalised styling advice; create complete looks and suggest complementary items to maximise basket size.
- Listen actively to customer needs, ask insightful questions and guide purchase decisions to ensure a seamless checkout.
- Drive sales through storytelling and product expertise across all categories while meeting individual and store targets.
- Maintain operational excellence: process POS transactions, organise the stockroom, replenish floor sets and manage inventory.
- Adopt omni-channel and virtual selling techniques; engage customers via social media and digital touchpoints when applicable.
- Give and receive constructive feedback; contribute to a collaborative team environment and store initiatives.
- Perform physical tasks required for retail operations, including regular lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending and stockroom manoeuvres.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Comfort with omni-channel selling and social media engagement; willingness to learn virtual selling tools and techniques.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate within a team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail experience in a customer-facing sales role is required; experience providing styling advice and working with omni-channel sales or virtual clienteling is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
