Coach in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Sales Associate to deliver luxury retail service, drive omni-channel sales, and support store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-line ambassador for Coach, consistently applying the Coach Guide to Style and Service to deliver an elevated, personalised client experience.
- Build and sustain lasting client relationships through expert styling, product knowledge and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business and client loyalty.
- Achieve individual and store sales goals through cross-selling, upselling and tailored product recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans and KPIs.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture client data, enable omni-channel transactions and stimulate online-to-store activity.
- Source new customers and convert leads through outreach, appointments and timely follow-up.
- Perform daily operational tasks—cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising—while maintaining high service standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised sales floor and stockroom; follow POS, asset-protection and retail policies; process purchases, returns, exchanges and online order pickups efficiently.
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves and manage product movement; assist teammates across functional areas as required.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and adapt behaviours to business needs.
- Physically manage stock and merchandising tasks (regularly lift at least 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad, laptop) and familiarity with mobile POS platforms.
- Experience using clienteling tools and communicating via social selling channels; social media savvy and experience with live-stream shopping or video demos preferred.
- Ability to read price/release sheets and use retail communications equipment (walkie‑talkie).
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple clients simultaneously.
- Physical ability to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre across the sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of direct sales experience, with prior luxury retail experience preferred; demonstrated success meeting sales KPIs and using omni-channel retail tools.
Education
No formal degree required; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
