Coach seeks a Part‑time Temporary Sales Associate in Clinton, CT to deliver luxury retail service and drive omnichannel sales at Clinton Crossing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the frontline ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalised service in accordance with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and nurture lasting client relationships through styling advice, product expertise, and proactive follow-up to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Execute omnichannel selling using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short‑form video) to capture client data and convert opportunities.
- Achieve individual and store KPIs through cross‑selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans.
- Perform daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage inventory receipt and replenishment, and support visual merchandising.
- Maintain a well organised, visually compelling sales floor and stockroom while following POS, asset protection and retail policies.
- Support team performance by assisting colleagues across functional areas, fostering a collaborative environment and participating in brand trainings and initiatives.
- Maintain professional composure, welcome feedback, and adapt behaviour to changing business needs; perform physical tasks as required (lift regularly up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience using POS systems and mobile POS devices (iPad/laptop) and familiarity with clienteling processes.
- Strong English proficiency required.
- Social‑media savvy with experience or interest in live‑stream shopping, video demonstrations and social selling (preferred).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.

Experience
At least one year of sales experience is required; prior luxury retail background and demonstrable clientelling or omnichannel selling experience are preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Clinton, Connecticut, USA, with easy access to New Haven.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
