Coach seeks a part-time Sales Associate in New York, NY (SoHo) to deliver personalized luxury service and drive omni-channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a front-line brand ambassador, delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards in every client interaction.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations.
- Leverage omni-channel tools—Mobile POS, clienteling systems and social selling (including short-form video)—to capture customer data and convert leads.
- Execute daily operational duties: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage inventory receipts and replenishment, and maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain a well-organized, stocked and secure sales floor and stockroom while adhering to POS and asset-protection procedures.
- Support team performance by assisting colleagues across functional areas and fostering a collaborative, trust-based environment.
- Participate in brand initiatives, trainings and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and adapt professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred.
- Proficiency with POS operations and basic computer use (iPad/laptop); experience using Mobile POS and walkie-talkies.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Social media savvy with familiarity or interest in live‑stream shopping, short-form video or video demos (preferred).
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of retail or sales experience; prior luxury retail or boutique experience and demonstrable clienteling or omni-channel selling experience are strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or certifications in retail, fashion or customer service preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
