Coach (Tapestry) seeks a part-time Sales Associate in New York, NY to deliver luxury retail service and drive omni-channel sales at 685 Fifth Ave.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized service consistent with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and tailored recommendations.
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and execution of individual sales plans to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms — including short-form video and live-stream demonstrations — to capture client data and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Source new customers, follow up to close sales and support omni-channel transactions (in-store purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups).
  • Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and basic visual merchandising while maintaining service standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and stocked sales floor and stockroom; follow POS, retail policies and asset protection procedures.
  • Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves and manage product movement.
  • Assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based environment.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; accept feedback and maintain a professional demeanor on the floor.
  • Meet physical requirements of the role: regularly lift at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), bend, kneel and maneuver throughout sales and stock areas.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven POS operation and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); familiarity with walkie-talkie use and ability to read price/release sheets.
  • Strong English proficiency required.
  • Social-media savvy with experience in social selling, live-stream shopping or short-form video preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift and move inventory as specified.

Experience
