Coach – Sales Associate (part‑time) in New Orleans, LA. Deliver elevated client service, omni‑channel selling and visual merchandising for Coach at Riverwalk.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador and deliver service consistent with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up.
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Engage omni‑channel shoppers using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video) to capture data and stimulate repeat purchases.
- Perform daily store operations: cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking merchandise and managing product movement between floor and stockroom.
- Maintain a clean, organized and well‑stocked sales floor and stockroom while following POS, retail policies and asset protection procedures.
- Assist teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative environment and participate in brand initiatives and training programs.
- Receive and act on feedback; maintain a calm, professional demeanor while adapting to changing business needs.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, including regularly lifting at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and moving throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven POS operation ability and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS).
- Familiarity with clienteling practices and ability to capture and action customer data (follow‑up, CRM entries).
- Comfortable using walkie‑talkies and reading price/release sheets.
- Social media savvy with experience or interest in short‑form video, live‑stream shopping or video demos (preferred).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to perform physical duties required by retail: climb, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience
Minimum of one year in sales, preferably within luxury or fashion retail; demonstrated experience with omni‑channel selling, clienteling and hitting individual sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
