Kate Spade New York Sales Associate (part-time) in Nashville, TN — join Tapestry's retail team to deliver styling, sales and omnichannel service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, build rapport and demonstrate deep product knowledge across handbags, accessories and apparel.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that integrate Kate Spade products into customers’ wardrobes.
- Drive sales through consultative selling, storytelling and suggestive selling of add-ons and complementary items.
- Execute seamless point-of-sale (POS) transactions and guide customers through checkout and returns processes.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including merchandise replenishment and visual standards.
- Support omnichannel selling and virtual consultations; engage customers via social media and brand digital tools when applicable.
- Work a flexible schedule to cover nights, weekends, peak retail periods and holidays.
- Perform physical tasks required by retail operations, including lifting merchandise (regularly 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs) and maintaining store presentation.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment; luxury or specialty retail experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Comfort with omnichannel and virtual selling techniques; social media awareness.
- English proficiency required for this market.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to move around the sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail sales experience is required; experience in luxury or specialty retail and a track record of meeting sales targets is preferred (approximately 1+ year recommended).
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or training in fashion, merchandising or retail sales is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
