Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Mississauga, Ontario (Square One) — customer-focused stylist role with flexible hours.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage customers with warmth and expert product knowledge; establish rapport and assess individual style needs.
  • Deliver personalised styling advice and assemble complete looks that integrate Kate Spade product across categories.
  • Drive sales through storytelling, suggestive selling and thoughtful add-on recommendations to maximise basket value.
  • Execute omnichannel customer interactions, including virtual selling and social-media-driven enquiries.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to complete transactions and manage returns/exchanges.
  • Maintain visual standards on the sales floor, assist visual merchandising and rotate stock to highlight newness.
  • Organise and maintain stockroom inventory; support receiving, replenishment and accurate stock counts.
  • Provide dependable customer service during peak trading periods, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail sales experience; experience with fashion, lifestyle or premium brands is an asset.
  • Comfortable with omnichannel and virtual selling techniques and social media engagement.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Capacity to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (and occasionally up to 50 lbs) and manoeuvre across sales floor and stockroom.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy seasons and public holidays.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
