Coach (Tapestry) is hiring a Sales Associate in Madrid to deliver luxury client experiences and drive omnichannel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalised luxury service in accordance with Coach style and service standards.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships through personalised styling, product expertise and targeted follow-up to drive repeat purchases.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets by cross-selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans; meet or exceed KPIs.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture client data and close sales across channels.
- Execute daily store operations including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment.
- Maintain floor and stockroom presentation and organisation, support visual merchandising, and adhere to loss-prevention and POS procedures.
- Support teammates across functional areas, contribute to a collaborative team environment and participate in brand initiatives and training.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven competence with POS operations and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); familiarity with Mobile POS workflows.
- Experience using clienteling tools and capturing client data; social media savvy with experience in short-form video or live-stream demonstrations preferred.
- Ability to read price and release sheets and operate retail communications (e.g., walkie-talkie).
- Strong English language proficiency and the capacity to perform in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of sales experience; previous experience in luxury retail and omnichannel selling is preferred.
Education
No formal degree required; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.
