Kate Spade New York in Livermore, CA seeks a part-time Retail Stylist (Temporary Associate) at San Francisco Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and establish rapport while demonstrating thorough product knowledge across categories.
- Listen actively to customers’ needs, ask insightful questions, and provide personalised styling recommendations to create complete looks.
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear and pair products, suggest add-ons and drive incremental sales through storytelling.
- Guide customers through purchasing decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience including accurate POS transactions.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom: merchandising, inventory organisation and replenishment.
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices to foster loyalty and invite repeat visits.
- Support team performance by giving and receiving constructive feedback and by participating in omnichannel selling activities.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication.
- Prior retail experience, preferably in fashion, accessories or a lifestyle brand environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise work and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and other peak retail periods; ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to bend, climb and manoeuvre in a retail environment.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market).

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required; experience with fashion or accessory brands and demonstrated sales results preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in retail, fashion or visual merchandising preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Livermore, California, USA, with easy access to San Francisco.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
