Tapestry (Kate Spade) seeks a Sales Associate in Malaysia to deliver styling-led customer service, drive sales and support omnichannel retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised styling-led customer service: greet guests, ask probing questions, and advise on product selection to create complete looks.
- Drive sales through consultative selling, storytelling and suggestive selling of add-ons and complementary products.
- Demonstrate deep product and brand knowledge across categories and translate attributes into customer value.
- Maintain operational excellence including accurate POS transactions, stockroom organisation and visual presentation.
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear and use products, encouraging customers to explore new styles.
- Support omnichannel retail initiatives by engaging in virtual selling, social media outreach and follow-up to cultivate repeat business.
- Contribute to a collaborative store culture by giving and receiving constructive feedback and supporting team goals.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrable ability to multitask, prioritise and work effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (local language proficiency where applicable).
