Coach (Tapestry) seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Kittery, ME to deliver luxury retail service and drive omni-channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized luxury service in accordance with Coach style and service standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through tailored styling, product expertise, and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling, personal sales plans and consistent KPI delivery.
- Employ omni‑channel selling techniques: operate mobile POS, support online order fulfilment and in‑store pickups, and leverage social selling and short‑form video.
- Capture client data using clienteling tools and maintain accurate records to fuel retention and targeted outreach.
- Execute daily operational tasks including cash wrap transactions, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment, and basic visual merchandising.
- Maintain an organized, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom while adhering to POS, asset protection and retail policies.
- Support team members across functional areas, foster a collaborative environment, and participate in brand training and inclusion initiatives.
- Adapt behaviour to feedback, sustain a professional demeanour under pressure, and perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, stock movement) required by the role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable ability to operate POS systems and mobile POS devices; basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop).
- Comfort with clienteling and data acquisition practices; social media savviness and experience with live-stream shopping or video demos preferred.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform tasks requiring climbing, bending and kneeling.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year in a sales role, preferably within luxury or fashion retail; experience with omni‑channel selling, clienteling and social/live‑stream selling is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Kittery, Maine, USA, with easy access to Boston.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
