Coach in Kansas City, MO is hiring a part-time Sales Associate to deliver elevated client experiences and drive retail sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as a frontline ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering personalized, elevated client service in accordance with Coach standards.
- Cultivate and sustain lasting client relationships through styling, product expertise and tailored recommendations to drive repeat business and loyalty.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans and KPIs.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture client data and convert interest into sales.
- Source new customers proactively and follow up to close sales; maintain an organized client book and outreach cadence.
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple clients concurrently and adapt selling techniques to daily business needs.
- Execute daily operational tasks—cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising—while upholding service standards.
- Process transactions accurately, including purchases, returns, exchanges and online order pickups.
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking product and managing stockroom flow.
- Collaborate with teammates across functional areas, foster a trust-based team environment and participate in brand initiatives and training.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate POS systems and mobile POS devices; basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop) and familiarity with walkie-talkie communications.
- Demonstrated clienteling and data-acquisition skills; social media savvy with experience in short-form video or live-stream shopping is a plus.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of direct sales experience; prior luxury or premium retail experience preferred. Experience with POS systems, clienteling platforms and social or live-stream selling is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or fashion coursework preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
