Coach is hiring a part‑time Sales Associate in Kansas City, Missouri — deliver luxury retail service, clienteling and omni‑channel selling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, consistently applying the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Deliver elevated, personalised shopping experiences through styling advice, product expertise, and attentive clienteling.
- Drive revenue by cross-selling, upselling, and executing tailored recommendations to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video and live‑stream demos) to capture client data and convert sales.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; source new customers and maintain follow-up to close sales.
- Manage multiple customers on the sales floor while maintaining high energy and professional service standards.
- Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, processing inventory, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Maintain a clean, organised sales floor and stockroom; adhere to POS, asset protection and retail policies.
- Process transactions efficiently (sales, returns, exchanges, online order pickups) and support inventory cycles (receive shipments, stock shelves, product movement).
- Assist teammates across functional areas as needed and contribute to a collaborative, trust‑based team environment.
- Participate in brand trainings and inclusion initiatives, welcome feedback and adapt behaviours to improve performance.
- Safely handle merchandise and store tasks; routinely lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and kneel as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience operating POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop; Mobile POS).
- Familiarity with clienteling, social selling, live‑stream shopping or video demonstrations is preferred.
- Ability to read price/release sheets and use walkie‑talkies for store communication.
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Physical ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Experience
Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of relevant education and sales experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or training in retail, fashion, or customer service preferred.
