Coach is hiring a Sales Associate II in Costa Mesa, CA (South Coast Plaza). Part-time retail role, hourly pay $15–$24.25.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a front-line brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and sustain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and tailored recommendations.
  • Drive individual and store revenue by cross-selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Sell across channels using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture client data and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Deliver efficient transaction management for purchases, returns, exchanges and online order pickups.
  • Support daily store operations: cash wrap, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment, and basic visual merchandising.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked sales floor and stockroom; follow POS, retail policies and asset protection procedures.
  • Support inventory cycles and product movement, assist teammates in functional areas, and participate in brand initiatives and training programs.
  • Adapt selling techniques to changing business needs, manage multiple customers concurrently, and sustain a calm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to operate POS systems and mobile POS devices; basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop).
  • Familiarity with clienteling workflows and social/live-stream selling formats preferred.
  • Strong English language proficiency required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, plus frequent bending, climbing and maneuvering in-store.
  • Comfort using store communications (e.g., walkie-talkie) and reading price/release sheets.

Experience

At least one year of direct sales experience is required; prior luxury or fashion retail experience and familiarity with omnichannel selling and clienteling are highly preferred.

Education
