Coach in Hanover, MD seeks a Temporary Sales Associate (part‑time) to deliver luxury retail service, omni‑channel selling and clienteling.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a front‑line brand ambassador, delivering personalized, elevated customer service in accordance with Coach style and service standards.
  • Drive sales through consultative selling, cross‑selling, upselling and tailored product recommendations to meet individual and store KPIs.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans, prospect and cultivate client relationships, and follow up to convert and secure repeat business.
  • Operate mobile POS and process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups) efficiently while maintaining asset protection procedures.
  • Utilize clienteling tools, social selling platforms and short‑form video to capture customer data and support omni‑channel engagement.
  • Support daily store operations including inventory receipt and processing, replenishment, visual merchandising, stockroom organisation and housekeeping.
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers concurrently, and adapt selling techniques to business needs and peak traffic periods.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; provide and receive constructive feedback to support team performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to operate POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad, laptop); experience with Mobile POS and walkie‑talkie use.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Social media savvy with experience or interest in live‑stream shopping, video demos and social selling (preferred).
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Capable of lifting regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and performing physical tasks (climb, bend, kneel).

Experience

At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior experience in luxury or fashion retail and demonstrated success in clienteling, omni‑channel selling or social commerce is preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
