Kate Spade New York Retail Stylist (part-time) in Halton Hills, Ontario. Temporary associate focused on styling, client engagement and sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised styling consultations to customers, building complete looks and suggesting complementary items to increase basket size.
  • Greet guests, demonstrate strong product knowledge and translate brand DNA into engaging storytelling and merchandising on the sales floor.
  • Drive individual and store sales targets through proactive outreach, relationship building and omni-channel/virtual selling techniques.
  • Execute point-of-sale transactions accurately and maintain operational excellence in the sales floor and stockroom, including inventory replenishment.
  • Accept and provide constructive feedback; participate in team meetings and contribute to an inclusive, customer-first environment.

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or lifestyle retail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling methods and maintain social media awareness.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, public holidays and peak retail periods.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; to bend, kneel and manoeuvre throughout the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

Prior retail sales experience is required; experience in fashion, accessories or lifestyle retail with a track record of meeting sales targets is preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
