Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Temporary Sales Associate in Hagerstown, MD — part-time retail role delivering luxury client service and omni-channel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized client service in accordance with Coach style and service standards.
  • Build and nurture lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling channels (including short-form video) to capture client data and convert sales across channels.
  • Manage daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), perform cash-wrap duties, and complete inventory receiving and replenishment.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and presentation standards; keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized and well-stocked.
  • Support inventory cycles and asset protection procedures, and assist teammates across functional areas as required.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; accept feedback and adapt professional behaviors accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); ability to read price and release sheets.
  • Strong oral English communication skills.
  • Comfortable using walkie-talkies and other store communication tools.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending and kneeling.

Experience

Minimum of one year in a sales or retail-facing role; prior experience in luxury or fashion retail and omni-channel selling is preferred.

Education

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
