Role & Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and build rapport to understand individual needs and lifestyle preferences.
• Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that incorporate Kate Spade product categories.
• Drive sales through consultative selling, storytelling and thoughtful add-on recommendations.
• Demonstrate deep product knowledge across assortments and communicate product attributes clearly.
• Execute point-of-sale transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
• Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including receiving, merchandising and inventory organisation.
• Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear merchandise and encourage customers to explore new styles.
• Support omni-channel and virtual selling activities and engage with customers via social platforms when required.
• Safely lift and move merchandise (regularly up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending and kneeling.

Qualifications

• Professional selling acumen with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Prior experience in a retail environment; experience with apparel, accessories or lifestyle brands preferred.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Social media awareness and openness to adopt omni-channel/virtual selling techniques.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.

Skills

Experience

Prior retail experience is required. Candidates with background in apparel, accessories or luxury lifestyle retail—especially roles involving styling or personalised client service—will be favoured.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational study or coursework in fashion, merchandising or retail is advantageous.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
