Coach in Edinburgh seeks a part-time Temporary Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Deliver personalized styling and product advice to build lasting client relationships and drive loyalty.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans and meet or exceed individual and team KPIs.
- Support daily store operations including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Process transactions efficiently (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups) and follow asset protection policies.
- Receive shipments, stock shelves and participate in inventory cycles to ensure product availability.
- Maintain a high-energy sales floor environment, manage multiple customers concurrently, and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate POS systems and mobile POS on iPad/laptop; familiarity with walkie-talkie operations.
- Proficient English language skills required.
- Social media savvy with experience in short-form video, live-stream shopping or video demos is preferred.
- Clienteling and data acquisition skills with the ability to follow up and close sales.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience
At least one year of sales experience is required; prior luxury retail experience is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail experience considered.
