Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, confident guest greetings and build rapport to uncover customer needs and preferences.
  • Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that incorporate Kate Spade products across categories.
  • Recommend add‑ons and complementary items to increase basket depth and drive sales through storytelling.
  • Execute seamless point-of-sale transactions and ensure an efficient checkout experience.
  • Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, manage inventory, and support visual merchandising.
  • Adopt omnichannel and virtual selling techniques, engaging customers across social and digital touchpoints.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge across seasonal collections and reinforce customer purchase decisions to encourage repeat visits.
  • Perform physical tasks as required (lifting, climbing, bending) and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail experience; experience within fashion or lifestyle brands preferred.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Familiarity with social media and willingness to learn omnichannel/virtual selling tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
  • Physical capacity to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and to manoeuvre the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
