Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Sales Associate in Dongguan, China to deliver luxury client service and drive omni-channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a frontline ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering elevated service aligned with brand standards.
- Build and nurture client relationships through personalised styling, product expertise and tailored recommendations.
- Drive individual and store sales through cross-selling, upselling and proactive prospecting to meet KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling channels (including short‑form video and live demos) to capture customer data and stimulate repeat purchases.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans and follow up with prospects to close sales.
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor; manage multiple customers and adapt selling techniques to shifting business priorities.
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising while upholding service standards.
- Keep sales floor and stockroom organised and compliant with asset protection and POS procedures.
- Process transactions efficiently (sales, returns, exchanges, online pickups) and support inventory cycles (receiving, stocking, product movement).
- Collaborate with teammates across functional areas and participate in brand initiatives, training and inclusion activities.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to meet individual sales targets and contribute to team KPIs.
- Practical experience with POS operation and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS).
- Familiarity with clienteling, data acquisition and social selling techniques (live-stream shopping or video demos preferred).
- Strong proficiency in English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year of customer-facing sales experience; prior luxury or premium retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

No formal degree required; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.

This position is based in Dongguan, Guangdong, China, within easy reach of Guangzhou.
