Coach in Cypress, Texas (Tapestry) seeks a part-time Sales Associate to deliver luxury retail service, omni-channel selling and clienteling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for Coach, delivering elevated, personalized luxury service aligned with the Coach Guide to Style and Service.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through styling, product expertise, and follow-up to drive repeat business and client loyalty.
- Execute omni-channel selling using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live-stream demos) to capture client data and close sales.
- Achieve individual and store KPIs by executing personal sales plans, cross-selling, upselling and tailored product recommendations.
- Perform daily store operations including cash wrap transactions, returns/exchanges, online order pickups, inventory receiving, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom standards, follow POS, asset protection and retail policies, and support inventory cycles and product movement.
- Support teammates across functional areas, contribute to team performance, participate in brand training, and embody company competencies and inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop) and familiarity with mobile POS and clienteling tools.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
- Physical ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
- Strong English language proficiency; social media savvy and experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations preferred.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year of retail or sales experience, with preference given to candidates who have worked in luxury retail or omni-channel environments and who have demonstrable clienteling and social-selling experience.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in fashion, retail, business or related fields, or retail/visual merchandising certification, preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Cypress, Texas, USA, with easy access to Houston.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
