Coach seeks a Part‑time Temporary Sales Associate in Clarksburg, MD — deliver luxury client service and drive sales at Clarksburg Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a front-line brand ambassador, delivering personalized, elevated service in accordance with Coach standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through styling, product knowledge and tailored recommendations.
- Drive sales performance through cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans to meet KPIs.
- Operate mobile POS and store POS systems; process purchases, returns, exchanges and online order pickups efficiently.
- Use clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases.
- Support daily store operations: inventory receiving, replenishment, visual merchandising and asset protection procedures.
- Maintain a polished sales floor and organized stockroom; follow retail policies and loss-prevention protocols.
- Adapt floor activities to business needs, manage multiple customers and sustain high energy during peak periods.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and demonstrate professional comportment.
- Assist teammates across functional areas and contribute to a collaborative, trust-based team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and execute personal sales plans.
- Proficiency operating POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad, laptop); experience with mobile POS and walkie-talkies.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Social-media savvy with experience in live-stream shopping or video demos, clienteling and data acquisition (preferred).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend, kneel and navigate sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of sales experience is required; luxury retail experience and familiarity with fashion trends and competitive landscape are strongly preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail- or fashion-related coursework preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
