Coach (Tapestry) hiring a part-time Sales Associate in Austin, TX (The Domain) to deliver luxury retail service and drive omni-channel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a front-line brand ambassador adhering to Coach’s Guide to Style and Service; deliver an elevated, personalized shopping experience.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships via personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet KPIs.
  • Operate mobile POS and in-store technology to process transactions, capture client data and fulfil omni-channel orders (returns, exchanges, online pickups).
  • Leverage clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live-stream demos) to acquire customer data and encourage conversions.
  • Perform daily store operations: cash wrap, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and asset-protection procedures.
  • Maintain a high-energy sales floor, manage multiple customers, and assist teammates across functional areas to ensure service standards.
  • Participate in brand training, inclusion initiatives and store programs; welcome feedback and adapt behaviour to business needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet individual and team sales goals and to execute personal sales plans.
  • Proficiency operating POS systems and mobile point-of-sale; comfortable with iPad/laptop devices and basic retail IT.
  • Social media savvy with experience or comfort in short-form video and live-stream shopping (preferred).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre in a retail environment.
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
