Kate Spade New York seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Commercial Bay, Auckland, NZ to deliver styling-led customer service and omnichannel retail support.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with warmth and confidence, establishing rapport and demonstrating strong product knowledge.
  • Provide personalised styling advice, assemble complete looks, and suggest complementary items to enhance the customer’s wardrobe.
  • Drive sales through storytelling and consultative selling while meeting store performance objectives.
  • Deliver seamless transactions and maintain POS accuracy during checkout.
  • Support omnichannel and virtual selling initiatives, guiding customers across in-store and digital touchpoints.
  • Maintain visual and operational standards, including stockroom organisation and merchandise presentation.
  • Collaborate with the store team, give and receive constructive feedback, and contribute to a positive, service-driven environment.
  • Work a flexible schedule to cover nights, weekends, peak trading periods and public holidays as required.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and perform effectively within a team.
  • Social media awareness and a willingness to learn omnichannel/virtual selling techniques.
  • English proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market) and flexibility to work retail hours.
