Kate Spade New York is hiring a part-time Sales Assistant in Bicester (Ks Bicester Outlet) to deliver styling-led retail service and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers with warmth and confidence, using deep product knowledge to advise on fit, function and styling.
- Deliver personalised styling consultations to build complete looks and suggest complementary items.
- Convert interactions into sales through storytelling, effective questioning and closing techniques; meet individual and store sales targets.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and ensure accurate, efficient checkout procedures.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards on the shop floor and ensure stockroom organisation and replenishment.
- Support omnichannel activity and virtual selling; promote social and digital initiatives to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Provide excellent after-sales service to reinforce customer loyalty and encourage repeat visits.
Qualifications
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Prior retail or customer-facing sales experience.
- Demonstrable ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Comfortable learning and applying omnichannel/virtual selling techniques and social media engagement.
- Fluency in English (local language proficiency if required by market) and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holiday trading periods.
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required; demonstrable selling experience and a track record of delivering excellent customer service are preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
