Kate Spade New York seeks a Sales Associate in Orlando, FL (Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets) — part-time role, $15.00–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and build rapport with guests; demonstrate confident, up-to-date product knowledge across categories.
- Actively listen to customers and ask insightful questions to identify needs and curate complete looks.
- Provide personalised styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create multi-item outfits to increase basket size.
- Execute point-of-sale transactions accurately and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including merchandising and inventory organisation.
- Adopt omni-channel and virtual selling techniques; leverage social media awareness to engage customers.
- Reinforce customer choices and invite repeat visits to foster long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience in a client-facing role.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities and collaborate within a team.
- Willingness to learn omni-channel/virtual selling methods and engage with social media platforms.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy seasons and public holidays.
- Physical capability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform routine sales-floor duties.
