Coach is hiring a Part‑time Sales Associate in McAllen, Texas. Deliver luxury client service, support omni-channel sales, and meet store targets at Coach (Tapestry).
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized service in accordance with Coach’s Guide to Style and Service.
- Build and sustain client relationships through styling advice, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans.
- Utilize Mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture customer data, convert encounters and support omni-channel sales.
- Perform daily operational duties including cash-wrap transactions, inventory receiving and processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and online order fulfilment (returns, exchanges, pickups).
- Maintain a clean, organized and merchandised sales floor and stockroom; adhere to POS, asset-protection and retail policy procedures.
- Support inventory cycles and product movement; assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; accept feedback and adapt behaviours while maintaining a professional demeanour.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven POS operation experience and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); ability to read price/release sheets.
- Comfortable with social selling and live-stream or video demo formats; clienteling and data-acquisition capabilities preferred.
- Able to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Physical capability to lift regularly 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre in sales floor and stockroom environments.
- Strong English language proficiency.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year in retail sales; experience in luxury or premium retail preferred. Demonstrated track record of meeting sales KPIs and proficiency with point-of-sale and clienteling systems.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail, visual merchandising or customer service coursework or certifications advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
