Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Associate (part-time) in Monroe, Ohio — retail stylist focused on customer styling, sales and omnichannel service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, build rapport and apply deep product knowledge to guide selections.
- Deliver personalised styling consultations, assemble complete looks and suggest complementary add-ons.
- Drive sales through consultative storytelling and proactive client engagement across in-store and virtual channels.
- Execute point-of-sale transactions accurately and maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation and visual presentation.
- Support a seamless customer journey — from discovery to purchase — and encourage repeat visitation.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication.
- Prior retail experience; demonstrated ability to multitask and collaborate in a team environment.
- Comfortable using POS systems and learning omnichannel/virtual selling techniques.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and to climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.

Experience
Prior retail experience is required, with demonstrable success in client-facing selling or styling roles and familiarity with point-of-sale operations and stockroom procedures.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
