Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Associate (part-time) in Leesburg, VA — styling-focused retail role at Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with warmth and confidence, demonstrating extensive product knowledge and brand storytelling.
- Provide personalised styling advice and assemble complete looks that integrate Kate Spade products into customers’ wardrobes.
- Drive sales through consultative selling, suggest add‑ons, and guide customers to seamless purchase decisions.
- Demonstrate creativity in merchandising individual looks and multiple ways to wear products to inspire repeat visits.
- Execute point-of-sale transactions and maintain operational excellence on the sales floor, including stockroom organization and replenishment.
- Adapt to omni-channel and virtual selling interactions when required and support store initiatives and promotional events.
- Maintain accurate inventory practices and contribute to a tidy, safe sales environment; lift and move merchandise as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or accessories.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holiday peak periods, and high-traffic retail days.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to climb, bend, kneel, and manoeuvre on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Prior retail selling experience demonstrating strong customer engagement, styling aptitude and a history of meeting service or sales objectives in a store environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
