Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Associate (part‑time) in Cabazon, California — join the Desert Hills Premium Outlets store as a Retail Stylist.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with warmth and product knowledge, establishing rapport and assessing needs through active listening and probing questions.
- Provide personalised styling advice, build complete looks and suggest complementary items to increase basket size and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and use products, encouraging exploration of new styles and fostering long‑term customer relationships.
- Execute sales transactions accurately using POS systems and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain visual standards on the sales floor and assist with stockroom organization, merchandise replenishment and inventory care.
- Support omnichannel selling efforts, including virtual selling and social media engagement when required.
- Meet physical demands of the role, including regular lifting (up to 25 lbs) and occasional heavier loads (to 50 lbs), bending, climbing and maneuvering within sales and stock areas.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Previous retail experience in a customer‑facing role.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Comfortable with omnichannel retail tools and a willingness to learn virtual selling techniques.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail seasons and public holidays.
