Kate Spade New York seeks a Part-time Retail Stylist in Santa Clara, CA (Westfield Valley Fair). Temporary sales role paying $15.00–$24.25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and expert product knowledge to build immediate rapport.
- Conduct needs-based conversations, ask insightful follow-up questions and translate answers into personalised styling recommendations.
- Curate complete looks by suggesting add-ons and multi-category pairings; demonstrate multiple ways to wear key pieces.
- Drive sales through storytelling and consultative selling while meeting individual and store performance objectives.
- Execute flawless POS transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience for every customer.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, visual presentation and inventory replenishment.
- Support omnichannel business by learning and applying virtual selling techniques and social media engagement.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication.
- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in specialty or lifestyle fashion.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Comfort with social media, omnichannel selling and willingness to learn virtual selling tools.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Previous retail experience is required; candidates should demonstrate proven sales ability, client-facing experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-centric store environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
