Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and authoritative product knowledge to build rapport and trust.
- Actively listen and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and curate personalized looks.
- Provide styling advice, suggest add-ons, and create complete outfits that incorporate Kate Spade product across categories.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and combine items to inspire customers and increase basket size.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and execute seamless POS transactions to close sales.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including merchandise organization and replenishment.
- Support omnichannel selling by participating in virtual/remote consultations and leveraging social media awareness.
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices to encourage return visits and long-term loyalty.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication.
- Prior retail experience; previous experience in fashion or styling strongly preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Comfort with omnichannel retail techniques and willingness to learn virtual selling methods.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; capable of bending, kneeling and maneuvering on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail sales environment is required; experience in fashion, styling or boutique retail is preferred. Specific years of experience are not mandated, but demonstrated selling success and customer-facing expertise are expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
