Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly; demonstrate deep product knowledge to guide selections.
- Provide personalized styling advice and assemble complete looks that integrate Kate Spade product categories.
- Drive sales through storytelling, relationship-building and suggestive selling of add-on items.
- Execute point-of-sale transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organization, visual presentation and inventory handling.
- Adopt omni-channel selling techniques and support virtual selling or social media-driven customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience; ability to multitask, prioritize and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel/virtual selling methods.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
- Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom.
