Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Retail Stylist in Katy, Texas (Katy Mills) — $15.00–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with confident, knowledgeable service and deep product expertise.
- Conduct consultative styling sessions to create complete looks, suggest add-ons and demonstrate multiple ways to wear product.
- Build strong customer relationships through active listening, storytelling and tailored recommendations that drive sales.
- Execute point-of-sale transactions efficiently and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, merchandise presentation and inventory handling.
- Adopt omni-channel selling behaviours (virtual selling, social media engagement) to support store performance.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to support continuous improvement and team results.
- Perform physical tasks as required: regularly lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre the sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience; customer-facing styling or visual merchandising experience preferred.
- Comfortable multitasking, prioritising and collaborating within a team environment.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail sales experience is required; experience styling clients, executing visual merchandising and familiarity with omni-channel sales preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or an associate degree in fashion, merchandising or retail is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
