Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Retail Stylist in Halton Hills, Ontario (Toronto Premium Outlets). Part-time role, $17.60–$22.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalised styling consultations that help clients discover and articulate their individual style and create complete looks using Kate Spade product ranges.
- Greet and engage guests proactively, ask insightful questions to identify needs, and use storytelling to drive product desirability and conversion.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across categories and advise on add‑ons to maximise basket value and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver seamless transactional experiences using point-of-sale (POS) systems and maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Present creative ways to wear and combine products, encouraging customers to explore new styles and return visits.
- Maintain visual and stockroom standards, assist with inventory tasks, and perform light manual handling consistent with store safety requirements.
- Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, peak retail days and public holidays to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrable customer service results.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and a willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency required for this market.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (and occasionally up to 50 lbs) and to perform typical retail physical tasks.

Experience
Prior experience working in a retail sales environment is required, with a track record of professional selling and delivering excellent customer service.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in fashion, merchandising or retail is an asset.
