Kate Spade New York in Edinburgh seeks a part-time Retail Stylist (Muse) to deliver personalised styling, sales and omni-channel customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with warmth and confident product knowledge; establish rapport and uncover needs through active listening and insightful questions.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks, demonstrating multiple ways to wear and integrate Kate Spade pieces into customers’ wardrobes.
- Drive sales through storytelling, suggest add-ons, promote complementary categories and close purchases while ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence: accurate POS transactions, visual merchandising standards, stockroom organisation and basic inventory control.
- Adopt omni-channel and virtual selling techniques, supporting social commerce and remote client interactions as needed.
- Reinforce customer choices, invite repeat visits and contribute to long‑term client relationships through exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Professional selling ability with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing sales or styling role.
- Aptitude for multitasking, prioritisation and collaborative teamwork.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling methods.
- English language proficiency (local language proficiency acceptable per market).

Previous experience in a retail environment with direct customer-facing sales; demonstrable history of meeting sales targets and delivering personalised styling is preferred. No rigid year minimum specified.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail or fashion training preferred.
