Kate Spade New York in Dallas, TX seeks a part-time Retail Stylist (Temporary Associate) at NorthPark Center — sales, styling and client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with warmth and authoritative product knowledge; build rapport through attentive listening and targeted questions.
- Provide personalized styling advice and create complete looks, suggesting complementary items and demonstrating multiple ways to wear products.
- Drive sales through relationship-building, storytelling and active promotion of brand collections and add-on items.
- Execute efficient point-of-sale (POS) transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain visual and operational standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including merchandising and inventory organization.
- Adopt omni-channel and virtual selling techniques; support social media initiatives to extend customer engagement.
- Provide constructive feedback to peers and participate in ongoing product and sales training.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience with demonstrable customer service results.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and collaborate within a team environment.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling tools and techniques.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
- Physical ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and maneuver around sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment is required; experience in fashion or lifestyle retail preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or training in fashion, merchandising or retail is preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
