Coach Sales Consultant in Zhongshan, China — frontline retail role at Zhongshan Haiya Outlet delivering luxury client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the frontline ambassador for the Coach brand, consistently applying the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Deliver personalised styling and product guidance to build long-term client relationships and loyalty.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling channels (including short-form video) to capture client data and drive repeat purchases.
- Develop and execute personal sales plans and meet or exceed KPIs.
- Source and follow up with new customers to convert leads and close sales.
- Maintain a high-energy presence on the sales floor, manage multiple client interactions, and adapt selling techniques according to business needs.
- Perform daily operational duties including cash-wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and basic visual merchandising while maintaining service standards.
- Ensure sales floor and stockroom organisation and compliance with POS procedures and asset-protection policies.
- Process transactions efficiently (sales, returns, exchanges, online pickups) and support inventory cycles (receiving, stocking, product movement).
- Support colleagues across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; accept feedback and demonstrate professional composure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven proficiency with POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop) and ability to operate walkie-talkies and read price/release sheets.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven retail environment and maintain flexibility to work nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Social-media savvy with preference given to candidates experienced in live-stream shopping, short-form video or video demos.
- Clienteling and data-acquisition aptitude; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of direct sales experience, with prior luxury or premium retail experience preferred. Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and executing omni‑channel selling strategies.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of formal education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
