Coach is hiring a Retail Sales Associate in Zhongshan (Haiya Outlet), China — deliver luxury client service and omni‑channel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a front-line ambassador for Coach, delivering personalised, elevated client service consistent with brand style and service standards.
  • Develop lasting client relationships through tailored styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans and KPIs.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture client data and convert opportunities.
  • Support daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage cash wrap and inventory tasks.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep sales floor and stockroom organised and participate in inventory cycles (receiving, replenishment, stock movement).
  • Adapt selling techniques to business needs, manage multiple customers on the floor and sustain high energy during peak periods.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and demonstrate a professional, calm demeanour.
  • Support teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and execute personalised selling strategies.
  • Proficiency using POS systems and mobile POS; comfortable with iPad/laptop devices and basic retail technology.
  • Strong English language proficiency required.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
  • Preferred: social media savvy with experience in live-stream shopping, short-form video demos, clienteling and data acquisition.

Experience
