Kate Spade New York is hiring a Temporary Associate in Lutz, FL (Tampa Premium Outlets). Part-time retail role focused on styling, sales and customer experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests warmly; deliver confident, brand-aligned product knowledge.
- Conduct consultative styling conversations to discover customer preferences and create complete looks.
- Recommend add-ons and cross-category pairings to maximise the customer basket and brand penetration.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and style products to inspire repeat visits and loyalty.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, support inventory processes and visual standards.
- Support omnichannel selling initiatives and virtual styling when required.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to continuously improve personal and team performance.
- Perform physical tasks as needed (lifting up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maintain flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and peak periods.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (or local market language proficiency) and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Capable of routine physical activity required by retail operations (lifting, bending, climbing).

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrable selling skills and customer engagement; experience with styling or personal-shopping is advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
