Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Retail Sales Associate in Clarksburg, MD (Clarksburg Premium Outlets) to deliver styling, sales and omnichannel service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, establish rapport and demonstrate expert product knowledge across categories.
- Listen actively to understand customer needs and provide personalised styling advice to create complete looks.
- Recommend complementary items and use storytelling to drive add-on sales and increase basket size.
- Showcase multiple ways to wear and incorporate Kate Spade products to inspire repeat visits.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure an efficient, accurate checkout using POS.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, complete replenishment and merchandising tasks.
- Support omnichannel initiatives and virtual selling when required.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to continuously improve customer service and sales performance.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and verbal communication.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise duties and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency per market).
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy seasons and holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform routine physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrated selling ability; experience working with POS systems and supporting omnichannel or virtual client interactions is advantageous.
