Kate Spade New York seeks a Retail Operations Specialist in New York, USA to manage store labor, payroll reporting, and supply procurement for luxury retail locations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own weekly payroll and labor reports for stores, field leaders, and corporate partners, including field payroll reports, MTD recaps, and payroll testing initiatives
  • Use reporting insights to inform strategic labor modeling and staffing decisions across retail locations
  • Maintain and manage the store labor planning tracking tool and StoreForce scheduling platform
  • Create ad-hoc reports tailored to specific audiences, adjusting format and content as needed
  • Manage monthly bonus program payouts and associated reporting
  • Create and maintain policy and procedure documentation for stores and field leaders
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for field teams on payroll usage, scheduling practices, and StoreForce best practices
  • Serve as primary liaison between store teams and supply vendors, managing escalations and troubleshooting to ensure timely resolutions
  • Manage purchase order creation and invoice processing for all store supply categories and other business areas as assigned
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
  • Support Retail Operations projects and initiatives as needed
  • Provide on-site support for annual Store Leader conferences and other meetings throughout the year
  • Monitor email after hours, including nights and weekends, to address urgent business needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in luxury goods or comparable retail environment with focus on Retail Operations, Retail Payroll, Scheduling, and Labor Modeling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across teams and departments
  • Proven capacity to prioritize workload and manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with comprehensive knowledge of Windows-based office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience

Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment with direct responsibility for Retail Operations, Retail Payroll, Scheduling, and Labor Modeling. An equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience is acceptable.

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent professional experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant retail operations experience is acceptable.
