Kate Spade New York is hiring a part-time Retail Inventory Associate in Waterloo, New York (Waterloo Premium Outlets).
Role & Responsibilities
- Support periodic inventory counts and cycle-count procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom; receive, unpack and stage merchandise for counting and sales.
- Perform POS transactions and assist at checkout when required to maintain a seamless customer experience.
- Engage customers on the sales floor with confident, brand-aligned service and styling suggestions as needed.
- Lift and move merchandise (regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs) and bend/stoop to access inventory.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment; stockroom or inventory-count experience preferred.
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and to maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
- Basic English proficiency for this market.

Experience
Prior retail experience in a customer-facing or stockroom role is required; experience with inventory counts, cycle-counting or retail stock control is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
